Role Expectations:

In addition to teaching and mentoring students, the positions require active contribution to the School’s academic and administrative responsibilities, including programme development, institutional initiatives, consultancies, and research or industry-led projects.

Faculty Positions Open (All Levels) We invite applications for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, & Professor in the following broad areas: 

1. AR/VR & Sonic Design - Teach, lead, and develop project-driven courses and real-time studios in AR, VR, XR, and Sonic Design. Integrate sound, space, interaction, and emerging technologies to create immersive learning and research experiences that foster innovation and drive meaningful outcomes.
2. Visual Communication Design, Branding & UI/UX - Teach, mentor, and lead studio-based, project-driven courses in Visual Communication Design, Branding, and UI/UX at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The role integrates visual systems, brand strategy, and user-centred digital experiences with academic rigour and contemporary practice.
3. Industrial Design - Teach, mentor, and lead project-driven Industrial Design studios integrating materials, technology, and design process management, emphasising real-world practice and interdisciplinary collaboration.
4. Film, Media & Game Design - Teach and lead project-driven studios in film, media, and game design, integrating narrative, visual language, sound, technology, and interactive systems with hands-on production and critical media thinking.
5. Technology, New Media & Generative AI - Teach and lead project-driven studios and courses in emerging technologies, new media, and generative AI, integrating creative coding, computational thinking, and ethical AI practice.

Preferred Qualification:

PhD or Master’s degree from reputed design institutions such as IIT/IDC, NID, FTII, or institutes of eminence abroad, with substantial experience in design education, academic administration, and project management across academia and industry.

Age Limit:

• Assistant Professor / Associate Professor: Maximum age below 45 years
• Professor: Maximum age below 55 years
