"Dive into the Innovation Hub, where exploration sparks creation. Uncover a world of learning and crafting ideas – your beginning of endless possibilities."
VidyaShilp University started in 2022 with the aim to sculpt education. The first year students were motivated by the faculties to start new clubs to engage in learning. Students' enthusiasm and hard work in solving problems that connect technology with management, Data Science, Psychology and Finance lead to the birth of the ROBOTICS and AUTOMATION club. Students from multidisciplinary courses have shown their interest to be part of the club. Students specializing in Management and Psychology offer their perspective on how the projects can align more with human-centric approaches. The club started with small projects like 3D printing, LED Simulation, Smart Dustbin, Self Watering Plant.
The next milestone achieved is getting the membership of IEEE where one can be benefitted from related resources, valuable opportunities, building professional connections and connecting with a worldwide network. On 10/16/2023 VU-IEEE Student Branch started which gave students new wings. Forming an IEEE Student Branch presents a myriad of advantages. It provides unparalleled networking opportunities at a local level, offers free website hosting, secures funding for various events and projects, facilitates project development with potential sponsorship through IEEE affiliation, and enables support for hosting professional awareness programs. Additionally, it allows for collaboration with similar student groups, aligning efforts to advance the overarching mission of IEEE.
The vision is to excel in the field. We aim at starting Vidyashilp University IEEE- RAS Student Chapter which will lead us deeper in the field development and the exchange of scientific knowledge in the fields of robotics and automations. The objective is to provide students with a platform to gain knowledge and experience in the realm of robotics, while simultaneously honing their engineering, programming, and problem-solving skills. We already have many projects Students will be able to build in house robots using 3D printing technology, programming its brain and later incorporating thinking and learning abilities to make it more human-like. We dream of using robots in the university of everyday tasks like cleaning, watering etc. Also, exploring the use of robots in the healthcare and agriculture sector. Other projects include learning to build and operate drones, developing high performance computing with AI capabilities.
