ANTI-RAGGING
Vidyashilp University is committed to a zero-tolerance approach to ragging and has strong preventive and responsive mechanisms in place to ensure a safe, respectful, nurturing campus for all students. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the University, hostels, private accommodations, transport, and all associated spaces, and any reported incident can lead to an FIR, imprisonment under law, fines, and expulsion with debarment from admission elsewhere.
The University’s Anti-Ragging Committee, supported by Anti-Ragging Squads, maintains vigilant oversight across campus, promptly investigates complaints, and recommends appropriate action to the administration whenever required. All students and parents are required to submit an online anti-ragging undertaking through the UGC portal (https://antiragging.in/ )and provide signed copies of the student and parent affidavits to the Registrar during registration, reinforcing their responsibility to uphold a ragging-free environment.
