Biography

Dr. Ashwini Tadpatrikar is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and currently serves as Assistant Professor at Vidyashilp University, Bengaluru, since May 2025. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from NIMHANS, Bengaluru, in June 2025, with her doctoral research focusing on “The Ubiquity of Screen Time: Impact on the Physical and Mental Well-being amongst Adults.” Over the years, she has worked for 10 years at NIMHANS in both clinical and research capacities, contributing to projects funded by DST, ICMR, and other national bodies. Her research spans areas such as internet and gaming addiction, technology use and family functioning, and yoga-based psychological interventions. She also has academic teaching experience, having served as an Assistant Professor at Montfort College, Bengaluru. She also has experience working with children at the Child Guidance Clinic (CGC) in Sahyadri Hospitals, Pune.
