Research and Development Cell
The key objectives of Vidyashilp Research Centre are to:
Inculcate research and innovation culture among faculty members and students.
Promote interdisciplinary research.
Undertake joint research projects in collaboration with other universities and
institutions.
Facilitate faculty members and students to undertake research projects in
nascent/emerging disciplines and of social relevance.
Submit research proposals and seek grant from research funding agencies and other
organizations.
Promote Consultancy projects to be undertaken by the faculty, promote research with
Intellectual Property Rights for patents, copyright, etc, to cater to societal needs and
national framework.
Promote incubation Centre / Start Ups / Entrepreneurship Cell for the aspiring
students.
Document reports, monographs and publish research papers in reputed journals to
disseminate the learning and results from the research projects.
Organize interactions with entrepreneurs, industrialists, NGOs, philanthropists and
faculty members of the university to exchange ideas and generate collaborative
research aligned to the some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Establish Post-Doctoral Research Programs.
