Dr. Taniya Sah, Assistant Professor, Economics , has been awarded the Uma Lele Mentor Fellowship for Women by the Agricultural & Applied Economics Association (AAEA), USA, with a grant of USD 5,000. She will be working on collaborative research in agricultural and applied economics.

Three students from the School of Law, Vidyashilp University, made the University proud at the 1st National Moot Court Competition (2025–26), organised by Government Law College, Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, held from 26–28 December 2025, by securing third place for their Memorial submission and advancing to the Quarter Finals.

Vidyashilp University hosted meaningful dialogues about how economic theory, philosophy, sociology and mathematics intersect with everyday social life, reiterating the significance of interdisciplinary thinking in research and pedagogy.

Dr. Shakti Chaturvedi’s project, selected under the competitive Punyashloka Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Special Call for Women-Led Research, stands as a testament to her commitment to advancing impactful, socially driven research. She will also lead the cause as a Project Director, alongside fellow collaborators.

Congratulations to Ms. Fiza Mehraj from the School of Legal Studies & Governance, Vidyashilp University, for becoming the only Indian student selected to present at the International Mediation Clinic Network Conference, University of Strathclyde.
