Biography

Dr. Asmita Goswami is a Visiting Faculty at Vidyashilp University. Prior to joining VU, she worked as an Assistant Professor at National Law School of India University Bangalore.

She is an experienced researcher with an intensive study in the field of Economics and skilled in Statistical Modelling, Econometrics, Data Analysis, Micro Economics, Industrial Economics and International Trade. She is one of the top performers to have been able to pursue a dual degree, Master of Philososphy (M.Phil.) with specialisation in Planning and Development and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics, in the department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Currently, she is also working towards converting the thesis chapters into academic publications besides teaching.
