Mr. Ramakrishnan T.R., who has a Post-Graduate Degree in Commerce has served the University of Madras as the Additional Controller of Examination and Madras Institute of Development Studies (MIDS), as the Administrative Officer. He has wide experience in the areas of Establishment, Finance, Examinations, Disciplinary regulations, Academic Regulations for Ph.D., Research funded projects, Statutory meetings, etc. for over four and half decades.

He has assisted institutions of higher learning in Tamil Nadu, in CAS promotion of the academic and departmental promotion of non-academic, drafting the Statute, etc. He was nominated as External Member of the Departmental Promotion Committee for its non-teaching employees in the cadres of Group B & C, of Central University, Pondicherry for two terms. His expertise was utilised by the Institute of Economic Growth, New Delhi, in updating their employees Service Rules.

He has been appointed as the Registrar In-charge and he assumed the charge of the post on 22nd January, 2024 in the Vidyashilp University.
