Decoding the Indian Partnership Act
Dr. Sunitha Abhay Jain, a distinguished Professor of Law from Christ University, delivered a riveting lecture on 'The Indian Partnership Act of 1932'. The session focussed on key provisions of the Act, its implications for businesses, and emerging trends in partnership law.
Dr. Justin Joseph, a distinguished Biomedical Engineer, delivered an insightful seminar on "Parameter Optimization of Feature Descriptors: A Case Study on Electroencephalogram Signals of Alzheimer’s Patients." The event drew a large audience of researchers, faculty, and students eager to explore the cutting-edge advancements in AI-driven medical diagnostics.

Vidyashilp University launched its Trekking Club with a trek to Ravugodlu on 4th February 2023. Dr. Bijil Prakash, the faculty coordinator, and Kruthika S, a core member of Vidyashilp University's Trekking Club, collaborated with the Karnataka Mountaineering Association to locate the perfect place to kick-start the Trekking Club.
Vidyashilp University celebrated the 74th Republic Day with a session on "The Indian Constitution: A product of untold struggle – Explore its relevance in contemporary times" on 26th January 2023 at the Vidyashilp University campus. The session was conducted by Prof. Arvind Narrain, Human Rights lawyer, Author and Educator.
Vidyashilp University’s Centre for Learning Sciences and Technologies (CLST) organized an activity-filled workshop - “Learning to Learn” on 28th January 2023. The workshop was centered on Creative Pedagogies and Classroom Practices for leaders in education. Experts in teaching methodologies - Prof. Aparna Vinod and Prof. Arvind Lodaya - led the event.
Cytecare Hospital welcomed a delegation from Vidyashilp University to visit the facility and explore its unique features. The University's faculty and Cytecare's board of directors developed an actionable plan for new academic programs, and collaborations to provide students with internship possibilities, establish course-related projects, and conduct joint research initiatives.

She emphasised that assessment rubrics complement and enable student learning. She recommended faculty reflect on moulding their curriculum in ways that reflect and promote inter disciplinarity, transdisciplinarity, and plurality.
